CREATING AN IMPACT
As sisters of immigrant parents, we grew up in a tight-knit family that taught us the importance of giving back before we could understand the meaning of it for ourselves. From a young age, we were taught to be compassionate, to give to the poor, and be grateful for the opportunities that we are given. Today, thanks to our grandparents and parents’ strong values, we always knew that giving back is an inextricable part of who we are, but we never had the opportunity to make such a big impact as we do now with Scrub Lab.
When we first started Scrub Lab in June 2020, we donated 100 pairs of scrubs to hospitals around Victoria to contribute to the shortage of scrubs for our frontline workers during the pandemic. By providing new scrubs to these individuals, we aimed to empower them, motivate them, as they take care of the most vulnerable.

Scrub Lab Health camp
Scrub Lab’s Health camp will help to empower nurses to enable hundreds of people to be tested for common illnesses such as malaria and HIV at our health camp. Testing stations will be set up and a pharmacy will be present so patients can receive medication,
and wound care as required.
Our partnership
We are incredibly proud to have partnered with a charity whose values are so closely aligned with ours. Though we are a small business, we have a big vision to give back. Our vision for our partnership with WYI is to educate and empower and ensure health professionals and volunteers feel ready to make a difference on a global scale. Contributing to a Scrub Lab Health Camp is only the beginning, we can’t wait to share with you our future plans.
